SWTOR Imperial Agent Class Review

The Imperial Agent class is the spy of the Empire relying on stealth and cunning to get behind enemy lines and take out their target or recon valuable information. This class is very versatile since you can spec for close range dps, long range dps, or healing. The Imperial Agent has high grade mesh armor that provides protection while allowing for quick motions. They use Blaster Rifles, Energy Blades and Sniper Rifles if spec’d for them. The starting abilities for the Imperial Agent are:

Rifle Shot- fire 2 quick shots
Shiv- Stab the target with your energy blade for initial damage plus 3seconds of light damage
Take Cover- Evasion increase
Recuperate-Recover Health and Energy over 15 seconds when out of combat
Snipe-High damage rifle shot. Only usable when in cover
Laser Target- Increase damage to a target by 80% for 30 seconds. Must be in cover to use this
Weapon Proficiency: Rifle- Able to equip Blaster Rifle
Show Cover- Shows all nearby cover areas

The Imperial Agent class has 2 advanced classes:

Operative- The Operative uses Blaster Rifles and Energy Blades and has 2 skill trees to choose from. You can choose Concealment which will improve your stealth and close ranged attacks for some nice burst damage. The other choice is Medic which focuses on healing and protecting your allies during combat.

Sniper- The Sniper uses a Sniper Rifle and has 2 skill trees to choose from. You can choose Marksmanship which will allow you to take out targets from a great distance from the safety of cover. The other choice is Engineering which allows you to upgrade your droids and probes to weaken your opponent.

Both advance classes share the Lethality tree which allows you to use poisons to debilitate your opponent over the course of a fight.

Each class in SWTOR has 5 companions that help them with crafting, gathering, and can come along on missions. The Imperial Agents companions are:

First Person Shooters Falling Short

As you read this blog the trend in FPS (First Person Shooters) continues. The trend I am speaking of is game developers releasing games before they are complete because of budget and marketing deadlines. Most of the time these restrictions are not the fault of the developers.

We sit by, as game after game is released without being completed. Developers struggle to make their deadlines and things like Quality Control fall to the wayside because of it. Game developers spend their entire budgets on marketing. We watch these trailers that look just as good as a blockbuster film and we start to salivate. The games get their sales immediately. We run to Gamestop to preorder a copy ASAP.

Release day finally arrives. You peal off the plastic in anticipation. You insert the disk into your PC or console… You play the shortest campaign you have in a while… you are ok with that. You don’t buy games for the SP anymore. Now it is time to find out what this game has! You click on the online mode…. you enter a lobby… you are the only one there… This can’t be right, the game was just released. So you keep trying for other lobbies. Eventually you make it to a game.. your hopes are high again. You start to play your new game online… kind of. You start to rubber band (back and forth motions caused by lag) all over the screen and then you are booted.

Situations like this shouldn’t be common place. We as video game consumers have allowed this to happen. We continue to preorder products without a beta test. We continue to buy these games and then defend the developers by saying, “It is hard to make a video game.” I am not saying that creating a game isn’t difficult… but there are tons of services in the world that are just as difficult (if not more difficult). If these other services can put out quality products from day one… why can’t video games?

I have read over and over again in multiple FPS forums… “Just be patient… they will fix the game. This is how it always is. Stop crying about it.” The people who post this trash are the issue. It isn’t the developers… it isn’t the marketing… it is the people who have come to accept this trend as just how it is.

Wii Game Rental Site Reviews

This is my review of the Wii game rental website “gamemine” this is one of the cheapest games rental websites around, and with 6000+ games to rent make it a great website for getting up to date games.

They also have a trade in feature which is very handy if you want to trade in your old games, they also are one of the highest trade in values for a game rental site. They also have the option of being able to purchase the game from them if you wish to keep it, the sale price would be at a reduced cost compared to a local games store.

I found the website very easy to navigate and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide choice of up to date games, they have games for the Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, NDS, 3DS, and GC. They have a pre-owned section where they sell trade in games at very low prices compared to the price of them new, just by visiting this section of the site you can save loads of money.

They have the two plans you can choose from to rent games, the first is an unlimited one game plan where you take out one game at a time. This cost $6.95 for the first month and then 13.95 a month after that, you also get free shipping with all games rented out and they do not charge any late fees if you keep the game for a longer period of time.

The second plan is there best value plan and can save you over 40% of the cost of renting, this is the unlimited monthly two game plan which works out at $10.95 for the first month and $20.95 a month after that. With no due dates for return and no late fee charges make it one of the best Wii game rental websites there is, if you look at the cost of new games now you will find they range from $40 up to $100 per game and if you play it and find you do not like it then that can work out very costly.

They also do weekly promotions and weekly specials in the buy section, this could save you up to 30%on some of the best known games. With the three options available buy, trade, or rent make it a great site for gamers, if like me you have unwanted games at home then you can use the trade in feature and get credit in your account or even get cash back for your games.

So to sum up this website, with the three options available and the free shipping included, and a choice of 6000+ games titles, make this a great site if you are looking to save money on buying games or renting them out. When you look at the costs involved it makes economical sense to use Wii game rental sites, plus with this website you can even trade in your old games and get credit or cash back.

SWTOR Smuggler Class Review

We all know that the majority of people will be playing Jedi Knights or Sith Warriors in the new Star War the Old Republic MMO, but you shouldn’t overlook the Smuggler class. This article will give you a quick SWTOR Smuggle review so you can see if the play style is something you would be interested in.

The Smuggler is basically the rogue class for SWTOR. They are sneaky and cunning and not shy about fighting dirty, in fact it is their preferred tactic. The Smuggler doesn’t wear heavy armor and can’t take the punishment a Jedi Knight can but, they are very sneaky and have more than a few tricks so they don’t have too. When it comes to a fight the Smuggler will use their stealth to get an advantage on their opponent whether it’s using invisibility to sneak up on them or hiding in cover and launching a long-range attack. They can also assist their allies with their healing abilities.

When you play the Smuggler you have two advanced classes to choose from, the Scoundrel and the Gunslinger.

The Scoundrel is specialized in survival. They use stealth belt, med packs and carry a scatter gun. As a Scoundrel you have the option of either Sawbones which is a healing spec that uses “heal over time” abilities, or a Scrapper which uses stealth to get in and use there scattergun for some nice burst damage than sneak out again.

The Gunslinger is the master of the trick shot. They can dual wield blasters and are masters of the long-ranged combat. As a Gunslinger you can choose to be either a Saboteur which are experts with explosives and use advanced technologies or a Sharpshooter who uses precise, high damage attacks from long range.

Each character in SWTOR has 5 companions that make up their crew. These companions can perform various tasks such as crafting items, gathering resources, and going on missions. The Smugglers companions are:

Bowdaar
• Species: Wookie
• Planet: Nar Shaddaa
• Melee Tank with heavy armor
• Weapons: Vibroswords, various blades
• Crew Skills: +10 Cybertech Efficiency, +10 Scavenging Efficiency

Corso Riggs
• Species: male human
• Planet: Ord Mantell
• Ranged Tank
• Heavy Armor
• Uses Blaster Pistols and Blaster Rifles
• Has a Taunt ability
• Crew Skills: +5 Underworld Trading Efficiency, +5 Armstech Critical

Akavi Spaar
• Species: female Mandalorian
• Planet: Balmorra
• Ranged DPS
• Heavy Armor
• Has a Flamethrower move

Guss Tuno
• Species: male Mon Calamari
• Planet: Hoth
• Healer
• Medium Armor
• Uses blasters

Risha
• Planet: Alderaan
• Ranged Dps
• Medium Armor
• Uses Rifle, Sniper Rifle
• Barrage mode (AoE mode)
• Grenade Kit

The Smuggler class isn’t for everyone, but if you enjoy being sneaky and out smarting your opponent then they might be right for you.
